The Central government has introduced a mobile application for the employees of the central government who are about to take retirement to assist them in monitoring the progress of the pension settlement cases.

The employees who are about to retire have also been enabled to assess their record complaints and superannuation funds, with the help of the pension calculator, the Public Grievances and Pensions Ministry and Personnel issued an official release.

The Pensions Ministry already has a portal for pensioners to solve this purpose.

The mobile app has extended to all the mobile handsets with all the services meant to serve for the pensions that are presently available on the official portal of Pension and Pensioners Welfare Department.

With this mobile app, an official of superannuating central government has been enabled to keep a check on the progress of their pension settlement and the retired officials have been enabled to evaluate or check the details of the amount of their pension via the pension calculator along with registering grievances and get the updates on the orders passed by the concerned department.

The mobile app was launched by the Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions Minister Mr Jitendra Singh.

He also awarded the pensioners for their outstanding and valuable contributions towards ‘Anubhav’, a podium for the employees who are retiring for sharing their knowledge on the working with the Indian government.

In order to assist the pensioners of the government, a symposium on the pre-retirement counselling of the 300 employees of the central government who are on the brink of retirement was also slated to be held.

The workshop had the intent to create awareness about the entitlements after retirement along with helping them to plan for the post-retirement life, according to the release.

There were four reciprocative sessions held that covered other things to a road map to the retirement, re-engagement of the retired people for the voluntary social activities, medical facilities for the pensioner.

There were sessions on the Income Tax and other benefits for the senior citizens of India along with the investment and financial planning for the retired people and the significance of writing will, the press release said.

The department of pension in this respective programme has also introduced the first of an array of pension adalat that look forward to bring together the aggrieved pensioner, the concerned department and a CGHS representative or a bank, wherever suitable, so that cases like these can be settled on the table within the groundwork of rules.

The Anubhav Awards 2017 were presented to 17 pensioners. The Anubhav plan was set up at the personal decree of the Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi. The PM emboldened both the retiring employees and the retired employees to share their experiences whilst working in the central government to craft an institutional wealth for the government for the future governance and stimulate the upcoming generations of the government officials, said the press release.

Making retirement planning easier and pension settlement monitoring better within your hand’s reach, the Central government of India has launched this mobile app for soon-to-retire employees of the Center.

According to the official release issued by the Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Ministry, you can assess your superannuation money along with recording complaints via the pension calculator.

Stepping ahead from thee-Governance to the m-Governance, a mobile application has been crafted to avail various services to the pensioners of the Portal of Pensioners, the statement in the press release said.

Now, the retirees would not have to face the hustle of visiting their ex- offices for their money for their old age. They can sit at home and avail all the post-retirement services for which they are eligible.
